But humour me personally because i recently sex them!
we specially like my pincushions to serve more than one purpose, which is the reason why this 1 has actually a very neat pocket to 1 side that could hold scissors, needles and a seam ripper…and silly me personally forgot to place the tape measure inside as well.

you should use any smallish embroidery that you have although one i have utilized would be into the March problem of The Stitchery Club (over here). One, 2½” x 42″ size the binding
One piece of scrap cotton fiber wadding
Stuffing for the pincushion
Why don”t we sew…
Note: utilize a 1/4″ seam unless instructed otherwise.
Sew the 1½” x 5¾” lengths of flowery textile down both sides for the embroidered block, and also the 1½” x 7½” lengths across the top and bottom. Press.
Sew the 3″ x 3½” rectangle of floral fabric into the 3½” x 4½” duration of green check textile to make the pocket.
Fold the floral/check pocket in two and press.

Sew the two 5″ x 11″ rectangles of floral textile collectively along the 11″ edges, making a 5″ opening in the middle.
Sew straight lines just in the raw side of the seam.
at this point you have a front and back to your pincushion.
